One of the US holidays quickly rising up my favourite's list, it's an opportune excuse designed as a holiday for friends and family to get together. Sure, there's the food, the desserts, the (at least) 4-day weekend, and journey back home.
But to me, such a holiday is truly about the company that surrounds the food. It's the group effort of a few friends in the afternoon that makes that meal so much tastier. Be thankful for the food, and be more thankful for the company. It's the people that make food a meal.
